The clothes were mostly ok, except for a couple of items like the cozy lounge joggers which got hole within them after 2 washes. It's a shame as you can't return these items: the cost is too high!
They've got a captive audience as tall people don't really have much choice. Their athletic wear seems fine though.

I wouldn't give them any stars. My package was lost while they tried to “deliver” to another country. They said they won’t refund international deliveries due to the package will never get back to them. Well what about me ? The package never made it to me and I didn’t get my money back? So you got my money but I didn’t get your items ? How is that works ?

Terrible customer service. I returned some leggings that were too tight in the waist. I kept two pairs that didn't fit well because I had worn them around the house. I received an email today stating that my returns were unsaleable due to being washed or worn, but they would excuse it this time. WTAF? This is patently untrue! I tried to contact customer service and had the same experience others have reported here (chatbot, being disconnected repeatedly). I finally gave up and replied to the email that I would rather pay for the items than to allow them to feel they were doing a cheater some sort of good deed. What a rotten way to do business. I had purchased a few other items in the past, but the quality is not there and the customer service is worse than non-existent, it is downright rude.

I purchased a polo & a tee from American Tall. Both my shirts have holes in them and they are junk! I paid almost $40 for a polo that was not even completely sewn at seem & my tee had a hole in back. I would’ve returned them but it’s more hassle than it’s worth! Aside from this I’m 6’3 and the polo shirt was short! My shirts from Under Armour are way longer and better quality. American Tall sells thin crappy shirts!

Customer service isn't. They have an automated chatbot, but I needed to speak or chat with a human about sizing. I finally got the chatbot to refer me to the "live support team," but after several seconds I got a message: "You've disconnected from the agent. Would you like to try again?" and I had to click "Try again." Repeatedly. After 20 or so times of this, I gave up.

Update: I eventually received a reply by email, but a few days later I have another question about a return and have the same problem with their chatbot. I'm making an exchange, and the link to a packing slip on their returns page is broken. This is during hours when a live agent is supposedly available. I'm sure I'll get another reply in 2-3 days but - grrrrrr.

My sense is this is a relatively new company, putting more attention into products than a seamless customer experience. Seeing all the complaints here, I hope they throw serious attention into working out the service kinks soon. Quality of the clothes seems good.

(62f) I have a 36” inseam. It is difficult to find age appropriate clothes that are long enough. I find many quality clothes th sat fit fantastic. Thank you American Tall!

I buy for two tall sons from them. The prices are high- I wait for sales- but the fit is always consistent. The quality is great. they are the only company that I have found for my tall, thin sons.

Purchase size M from UK. Arrived alright but size resembled XL more than medium.

Initiated return process, paid 40£ to ship it back and has been asked by AT to clear it from destination customs despite the fact it is a return shipment and shouldn't be subject to customs duties. Terrible terrible shopping experience and international customers stay away.
